Based in the Barrio District of Tampa Florida's Historic Ybor City, we at stackDesign work closely with clients to design and fabricate custom architectural components and modern furniture.
Founded by William Stack in 2002, stackDesign remains devoted to those who demand exceptional design, rock-solid craftsmanship and a commitment to service. As a young boy growing up in New York City, Will developed an early appreciation for architecture and design. His father owned and operated a respected exterior building restoration company. Upon graduating high school Will proudly continued in this three generation family tradition. Their assignments covered all five of the City's boroughs, but it was in Manhattan's Lower West Side that their reputation was built. SoHo's Historic District and Tribeca, widely considered the birthplace of the modern loft movement, helped to shape his distinctive style. It was here that Will witnessed much of this historic transformation, from old meat packing and textile factories of years past to the expansive, innovative spaces of today. It was this truly unique, lifelong experience that helped fuel the rise of stackDesign.
As detailed in our name, Design is our emphasis. We take pride in a reverent approach to the design process. Unlike others that simply fabricate, we take visions... concepts... and make them buildable. With an ever careful eye to creativity, we remain mindful of functionality. It is the melding of these principles to which we attribute our success. That success measured solely by the satisfaction of our clients, whose partnerships are our most valued asset.
From process comes strength. Will affords each individual project his fullest attention - from consultation through design, into production and delivery. Our dedicated team of skilled fabricators and metal-workers strive to excel in accuracy and integrity. Each cut and weld, bend or grind, is approached with the highest level of precision. Top to bottom our goal at stackDesign is simple: to always exceed every expectation... and we are steadfast in that pursuit!
